Offering stone

Natural or artificial cavities or offering cups can be found on the surface of offering stones into which the offerings were placed. The stones often had names. More than 1700 cup-marked stones have been registered in Estonia, approximately 400 of them connected with a custom of bringing offerings or described as having magic healing effect according to folk tradition.
