Caves are actually old sandstone mines that form the system of the galleries whose total length is 20 km. Alltogether there is 8 old mines, 6 of them are relatively low, but in other two the pillars reach up to 10 m in height. During the winters a remarkable population of bats lurks in the caves, often the number of bats amounts to 2000, from 5–7 species.
